What is ISO 14001:2015?

  • the quantification, recording and monitoring of the released quantities of greenhouse gases
  • the selection of the appropriate GHG emission management/reduction framework

  • the preparation of a report for the authorities concerning the released quantities and their verification

ISO 14064 consists of 3 parts:

  • ISO 14064-1, which provides details of the principles and requirements regarding the planning, development, management and reporting of a company’s GHG emissions
  • ISO 14064-2, which focuses on projects specifically designed to reduce GHG emissions or increase GHG removals
  • ISO 14064-3, which provides details of the principles and requirements regarding the verification of GHG inventories or GHG projects. It can be used by organizations or third parties to verify the GHG statement.
