What is ISO 14001:2015?

The design of the model is based on two axes: the first is to help businesses to meet their environmental responsibilities and the impact of their activities and the second is to assist them to remain commercially successful and financially prosperous. What is ISO 14064?

ISO 14064 is an international certification standard designed to help businesses meet the challenges of climate change. It is a system that assists companies to monitor and limit the greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) caused by their activities, which can be achieved through:

  • the quantification, recording and monitoring of the released quantities of greenhouse gases
  • the selection of the appropriate GHG emission management/reduction framework
  • the optimal management of energy resources
  • the preparation of a report for the authorities concerning the released quantities and their verification

ISO 14064 consists of 3 parts:

  • ISO 14064-1, which provides details of the principles and requirements regarding the planning, development, management and reporting of a company’s GHG emissions
  • ISO 14064-2, which focuses on projects specifically designed to reduce GHG emissions or increase GHG removals
  • ISO 14064-3, which provides details of the principles and requirements regarding the verification of GHG inventories or GHG projects. It can be used by organizations or third parties to verify the GHG statement.

What is ISO 45001:2018?

ISO 45001:2018 is an internationally recognized standard for occupational health and safety management systems that tends to replace OHSAS 18001:2007. It provides a comprehensive framework for defining procedures that will lead to the prevention of accidents at work, the reduction of occupational risks and the overall management of the health and safety aspects that arise from a company’s activities. The main benefits from the implementation of ISO 27001:2013 standard are the following:
